Sapphire Terms and Conditions
Last updated: September 6, 2026
These terms govern every account opened with Sapphire. Read them before you deposit, because they cover who can play, how bonuses work and what we check before a withdrawal is paid.
Eligibility to play
You must be 18 years or older to register an account with Sapphire, no exceptions. By creating an account you confirm you are of legal age in your state or territory and that you are opening the account for yourself, not on behalf of anyone else. Sapphire does not accept players who are self-excluded from Australian gambling services, and we reserve the right to ask for proof of age and identity at any point, including before a first withdrawal.
Only one account is permitted per person, per household and per device. Duplicate accounts, whether opened deliberately or by mistake, may be closed and any linked balances forfeited. If you share a household internet connection with another adult who also plays at Sapphire, contact support so we can note this on both accounts before it causes a review delay.
Account registration and verification
Registration requires a valid email address, a working mobile number and accurate personal details. Sapphire runs identity verification (know-your-customer checks) in line with standard industry practice for real-money gambling sites. This typically means a photo ID and, for larger withdrawals or first-time cashouts, a recent proof of address or a screenshot confirming ownership of your payment method. Verification protects you as much as it protects us, since it stops someone else from accessing your balance.
Keep your login details private and use a strong password. You are responsible for all activity on your account unless you can show it resulted from a security failure on our side. If you suspect unauthorised access, change your password immediately and contact support.
Bonus terms and wagering
Sapphire's welcome package, reload offers and free spins on selected pokies each carry their own wagering requirements, minimum deposit thresholds and expiry windows. These figures are published on the Bonus page at the time the offer runs, since they can change between promotions. Bonus funds and any winnings from them are locked until the wagering requirement is cleared, and unused bonus balance is removed once the offer expires.
Some pokies contribute 100% of wagers towards clearing a bonus, others contribute less, and live dealer tables and certain high-RTP titles are commonly excluded or capped. Placing bets that are designed mainly to clear wagering with minimal risk, sometimes called bonus abuse, is against these terms and can result in the bonus and related winnings being voided. All bonus mentions on this site are subject to T&Cs apply, and we recommend checking current terms before opting in to any offer.
Deposits and withdrawals
Sapphire operates an AUD-only cashier. Deposits can be made via PayID, POLi, Visa, Mastercard, bank transfer or select cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin and Tether (USDT). There is no currency conversion fee when you deposit or withdraw in AUD. Minimum and maximum deposit limits are shown in the cashier and may vary by payment method.
Withdrawals are paid to the same method used to deposit wherever possible, which is standard practice to prevent fraud. Before your first withdrawal is processed, expect a verification check on your identity and payment details. Processing times depend on the method: PayID and POLi withdrawals are generally the fastest, while card and bank transfer withdrawals can take longer to clear through your bank. Sapphire does not charge withdrawal fees, though your bank or crypto network may apply its own.
Account limits and closure
You can set deposit limits, session reminders or take a break at any time through your account settings, as described on our Responsible Gaming page. Sapphire may suspend or close an account if we detect a breach of these terms, suspected fraud, a chargeback, or a request from you to self-exclude. Where an account is closed for a confirmed breach, any bonus funds and related winnings may be forfeited, though your original deposited balance, less any wagering already used, remains yours.
Changes to these terms
Sapphire may update these terms from time to time to reflect new games, payment methods or regulatory guidance relevant to Australian players. Material changes will be flagged on this page, and continued use of your account after an update counts as acceptance of the revised terms. We recommend checking back periodically, particularly before claiming a new bonus.
